・着替えを手伝う help sb change his clothes

・家計を手伝う pay part of the living expenses; help with the household expenses

・仕事がうまく行かず, このところの暑さも手伝って彼はますます機嫌が悪い. Work was not going well, and the heat these days only helped to worsen his mood.
